The History of St, Luke The Evangelist, Mulhuddart Dublin 15.

The Parish of Mulhuddart is part of the fast growing Area of Dublin 15. Often called ‘Ladyswell’, Mulhuddart Parish was constituted from Blanchardstown Parish in 1993 with Father Leo Quinlan as Parish Priest.  In the early days of development Masses were celebrated in ‘The Canteen’ – a workers’ hut – before transfer to Saint Luke the Evangelist Church in February 1993.  With the strong support of the Area Bishop Dermot O’Mahony, Mulhuddart was constituted a Parish by Archbishop Desmond Connell on August 15th 1993. The same church was refurbished in 2005 to increase its capacity and to provide a much needed Parish Centre.

Information

If we can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to make contact either in person by calling to our church, by phone or by e-mail.

Our Sick

If you believe it helpful, a call to the home or hospital can be organised to a person who is unwell. Where the sick person agrees, the Sacrament of the Sick can be administered. Please let us know a person is sick and we will remember them in our Community prayers or arrange for Holy Communion to be brought to them should they wish.

Weekly Envelopes

The main source of income for our Parish is the generosity of those Parishioners who contribute to our Weekly Envelope Collection. These contributions allow us to pay our regular bills, heating, lighting, insurance, church supplies etc. If you wish to contribute either through our Envelope Collection or by Direct Debit, we gladly welcome your support.  Please speak with Fr. Eugene.
